Can I use something other than salt in Bug-A-Salt?

NO! The use of other substances will cause problems with your weapon.

The use of other substances will void the warranty.

Is the weapon dangerous?

No, abuse only: do not shoot anyone in the face or eyes.

Treat it with respect as you would any firearm. It does not penetrate skin or damage furniture.

What kind of salt do you use?

Ordinary table salt from your local supermarket.

Will the salt shred the fly?

No, the fly stays whole for easy disposal.

How much salt does the gun shoot?

A pinch of salt.

What if my weapon breaks?

If troubleshooting doesn't help, you're in luck! Lorenzo stands by our product and we take our 1-year warranty policy against factory defects seriously.

If the gun is more than 1 year old, we will do our best on a case-by-case basis to satisfy our customers.

Please do not disassemble your BUG-A-SALT or do anything stupid like put sand in it as this will void our warranty policy.
